“Yula” is Dimitrios Pingios’ first composition for Fevronia. On this recording I played drums.
Producer/keyboardist Gert Kapo created a Greek sound for Fevronia, magically balanced between Orient and Occident. In collaboration with Nikolaos Rondelis (Mix & Master), the band & the guest soloists (Giorgos Zachariou & Max Klaas) Gert Kapo produced a beautiful debut single with Fevronia.
Yula tells the story of a simple village girl who is a queen in the eyes of her lover and is idolized by him.
This anthem combines Greek poetry about Eros in its purest original form with a mystical Tsifteteli slow Balkan rumba beat.
What power does love have, how does Eros ( amorousness) inspire us in the interaction of the loving and the environment in our lives?
